Activities
The Yucatan peninsula has safe sandy beaches that are great for walking, swimming and shell collecting. One can also bird watch, deep-sea fish, sail, kite sail, windsurf, kayak and golf.
The major attractions are the magnificent archaeological sites of Chichen Itza, Uxmal, the haciendas, and the historical cities.
Flights arrive from Canada and the United States several times each day at the international airport in Merida.
