Furnishings vary greatly in style from condo to condo as each is individually owned. They are simple and mainly rattan to withstand the salty air.

Dining table sets are mostly glass topped and seat 4 to 6 persons.

Kitchens are equipped with oven and gas burners as well as a fridge and the basic necessary kitchen utensils for cooking.

Condos are equipped and furnished to accommodate 4 persons.

Each condo is accessible through an outside stairway, while balconies face the gulf and are entered through the living room.

A television set and DVD player are provided and local Spanish stations are available.

Cablemas is a new service in 2010 and provides Cable TV as well as the internet and may apply to your rental property it is important to check prior to your booking!

Cellular phones and Blackberry's operate very well thanks to new cellular towers in the area. Phones may be purchased from one of the many cellar providers in Progreso or check with your Canadian provider on rates and availability of service using your current phone in the Yucatan region of Mexico.

Satellite radio will further add to your enjoyment in Mexico. Bring down your system, plug it in and all stations you receive in Canada are instantly available.

Star Choice Satellite works and can be installed by a local technician in your condo. A limited number of Star Choice hook-ups are available to condo renters. You need to bring your remote control and receiver. In order to reserve a connection, please notify SouthNest at the time of booking of your intention to use Star Choice.

Starting 2010 Cablemas provides Cable TV along with internet to both Condos and villas. Since this is the first season for Cablemas it's important to confirm the availability prior to booking.
As a bonus offering, SouthNest provides guests with:
Airport pick-up and return to and from accommodation (please see terms and conditions)
- Grocery shopping on arrival provided your flight is day time
- Orientation package upon arrival
- Spanish speaking Caretaker is on site for maintenance and services in general.
- The Canadian SouthNest representative is present in Mexico from October 2010 to May 2011.
Services available on site at a cost:
Stocked directly at the condos by the caretaker: 20-litre containers of purified water, which is a must ($ 2.25 Cdn).
Condos may be rented on a seasonal or monthly basis from September 1st , 2010 to June 30, th 2011.

*Most of our condos are available Until April 15 2011 due to owner occupancy over the Easter holidays.
Maximum 4 persons per condo for full time customers; however customers are welcomed to have more guests than 4 for shorter periods.
February is the peak travel month and due to limited availability, SouthNest Inc. will give preference to customers renting for the month of February along with either January or March 2011.
