SouthNest and what we offer: Rentals We are a Canadian corporation providing a variety of quality rental properties on the Gulf Coast of the Yucatan, near the colonial city of Merida. All rental rates are priced in US dollars.  Our staff has many years of experience.  We are knowledgeable about this destination and will help you  plan a vacation to suit your needs. We provide a toll free number (1-877-764-7376) and informative website to better answer your questions.  We offer our customers full  Management representation both in Canada and Mexico during your stay.  We provide an information package for tourists that includes a summary of Spanish phrases.  Upon arrival in Mexico, you will be given an orientation tour and an extensive welcoming package that includes local maps that describe essential services in the Yucatan and surrounding towns. Transportation Upon arrival at the Merida airport, you will be welcomed by a SouthNest representative and provided with transportation to your condo or house.  We can even stop for groceries on the way if your flight arrives during the day, otherwise shopping can take place the following day.  The return trip to the airport is also provided. (Please read Terms and Conditions under Pick-up) If you drive your car or RV to your winter vacation, we will gladly map out a suitable route to reach your destination safely. Car rental arrangements may be made prior to arrival in Merida or  though  SouthNest or with a  local company upon arrival.  Cellular phones  and Blackberry's  operate very well thanks to new cellular towers in the area.  Phones may be purchased from one of the many cellar providers in Progreso or check with your Canadian provider on rates and availability of service using your current phone in the Yucatan region of Mexico.  VOIP systems also operate Southnest and several Canadians us VOIP your life while in Mexico. Satellite radio will further add to your enjoyment in Mexico.  Bring down your system, plug it in and all stations you receive in Canada are instantly available. Star Choice Satellite - Villas - Star Choice can be installed by a local technician in your villa or Condo.  Bring  your  receiver and remote control from home, prebook a dish with  SouthNest; there are a limited number of dishes available.
